School Board Meetings are held on the 2nd (Committee Meeting) and 4th (Regular Voting Meeting) Monday of each month in the New Brighton Area High School Little Theatre at 7:30 P.M. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
2018 MEETING NOTICES
At the annual Reorganization Meeting of the New Brighton Area Board of School Directors held on Monday, December 4, 2017 the following meeting dates for 2018 were set:
Committee Meetings - 2nd Monday of each month
Voting Meetings - 4th Monday of each month
All meetings will be held in the High School Little Theatre, 3202 43rd Street, New Brighton, PA at 7:30 pm.
February – 2/12/18 will be a Special Voting meeting for the purpose of, but not limited to, the Preliminary Budget, immediately followed by the Committee Meeting
May – Only 1 meeting on 5/14/18
July – There will not be a meeting
August – 8/13/18 will be a Special Voting meeting for the purpose of, but not limited to, Personnel, immediately followed by the Committee Meeting
November – Only 1 meeting on 11/19/18
Reorganization - 12/3/18 at 7:00 pm with a Voting meeting to immediately follow.
Voting on the Preliminary Budget will be 2/12/18. Budget will be available for public review as of 1/23/18 during regular business hours in the District Administration Office.
Voting on the Proposed Final Budget will be 5/14/18. Voting for the Final Budget will be 6/25/18. Budget will be available for public review as of 6/4/18 during regular business hours in the District Administration Office.
The New Brighton Area School District Board of Directors has completed a Superintendent Performance Evaluation for Dr. Joseph A. Guarino and his performance rating was proficient or distinguished across all categories.
