Energy and Advanced Manufacturing Program

With the influx of hundreds of jobs in Beaver County with the arrival of Shell, we are supporting the work of Beaver County's Energy and Advanced Manufacturing Partnership to help prepare our students for future career paths. On Tuesday, March 28, there will be an opportunity for parents and students to learn about the new jobs, job training available, and opportunities to work in a variety of industries right here in Beaver County. Students who attend will be entered to win four $250 scholarships. There will be industry experts on site, panelists to share job expectations, and exhibitors who can share programs in our area to prepare students or for adults to change career paths. All are welcome. Please join us on Tuesday, March 28 at 5:30 at the Beaver County Community College Dome for a great opportunity for our Beaver County students and their families. More information can be found on the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce website.  You may also visit http://energyampartnership.com/ to learn more about this specific event.
